When dj's started replacing perfectly serviceable words with new, better, cool ones.
What nearly kills me is the phrase "I'm loving this"
Meaning that sometime in the future I won't love it or I might not love it.
Which is a weak compliment.

Which reminds me...

My favourite joke I heard at the Edinburgh Fringe was by a 20-something guy who said he a Millennial, and, after a list of things said:

"You know you're a Millennial, if, when you first found out that Princess Diana had died, you said "So does that mean the cartoons will be on later, or not at all?"

Or fire them in a never-ending volley that puts the seven day bombardment at the Somme in the shade?

That's when the rot set in.
