Pretty disappointing to see him dropped today - he has seemed much better than Iorfa. Perhaps not in a wing back role - pace can be the only reason surely?

I’d agree. Better than Iorfa, but part of that loan deal may stipulate he has to play.

Can't see Mccarthy agreeing to a deal like that.

Agreed, Spence has been excellent this season whereas Iorfa is very inconsistent. Surprised by that call from Mick.

I'm not totally convinced by Spence, he sometimes over complicated things in possession last season at right back. But he's had a pretty decent season so far this one. Iorfa is horribly inconsistent and goes from the sublime to the ridiculous. He reminds me a little bit of Santos.

Yeah, turned down that Chelsea kid for that reason.

Not a fan of Iorfa at right-back if I’m honest. Seems more of an athlete than a footballer. Has potential, but I wouldn’t start him next week

I’m not surprised at any MM decisions.

Not justified after today - Iorfa woeful on the ball and not quick enough to close down. Was left a bit exposed when Mick shoved Waghorn out right in front of him.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Iorfa is all legs, Spence can read the game better

Probably Spence's strengths are Iorfa's weaknesses and vice versa.

Sorry...but Iorfa hasn't impressed me on any fronts. Fast becoming one of the poorest players I've seen at ITFC. Has odd moments that are good but as a RB is far too inconsistent. Seems to do the simple stuff really badly. Danger to have in the starting 11.

He always seems to be recovering from a mistake he makes

Not doing the simple stuff correctly is a good description. He might take a poor touch away from him but he has the physical presence and strength to just about keep possession.

Spence is far better in my opinion

Would young Connolly, from Everton, be our best option at right back?

I hope it's because he's carrying a niggle and not on performance

No, Spence is a good right back and he should be playing there.
