Whilst I agree in principle- and am very much opposed to the rising idea that the state, or certain groups and ideologies can dictate to the world what can or cannot be said...
This was not a formal police caution as the video suggests. It was a verbal warning- probably "words of advice" or similar. Its pretty routine where someone complains of some sort of harrassment as a first step. Just tell them not to speak to each other and hope it goes away.
The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it.

Love him
I actually agree with a lot of what he says, I just find the character so OTT. Clearly it’s for effect, but the body language and constant dialogue with his made up colleague down the ear piece drives me mad. Can’t watch it.

Of course it is. And certainly worth fighting for, after we went to so much trouble to establish it around the world
No, it is a principal and human right.
Freedom of expression is recognized as a human right under article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

Are these the human rights the tories want to scrap when we leave the EU?

Its also a cause. It is regrettably necessary to keep kicking back at those who would nudge in the boundaries for bad reasons.
The grey areas make it a slippery "right" and people are properly concerned about thin end of the wedge arguments.
Take Mr Corbyn's recent fun and games with the definition of anti-semitism for instance. Whilst I have little time for Mr Corbyn, isn't the idea that saying a particular thing (even if it might be valid, might be for effect, might be satire etc etc) automatically entitles everyone to label you as an anti-semite, and possibly expose you to removal from a party, or even prosecution for "hate speech", a rather sinister state of affairs?

I noticed that the letter from the Palastinians pointing out that Mr Corbyn was putting their case something that had got lost. Was not the media condemnation of what Corbyn was stating shutting down feee speech as was the Palastinians case?

It was driven by ideology.
I am not convinced that Corbyn's position was wrong on that occasion. The idea of defining something with which to shut people down or make them guilty of something, so widely, is sinister to me.

We have been a Police State for years. Of course the great unwashed have helped soften the load on the police by telling the world what they are up to on Facebook on a daily occurrence.
"Dear world, this is what I am doing today"
Where has this idiot sprung up from by the way? I had never heard of him until a couple of days ago when our homosexual whatsapp group suggested watching him, I turned the tvvat off after a couple of minutes - what an idiot he is!
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”
Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.

Because it is?
You need to spend more time with (left) @narchists. I'm not sure that framing this as a left/right thing is helpful nor accurate. -(facist book burning, Communist censorship, Israel's recent attempt to fine people over calls for boycotts, etc......)
"They break our legs and tell us to be grateful when they offer us crutches."
