Anyone else notice we won the toss Saturday and changed ends ? first time we have done that since Keane left. Maybe Gerkin did not like the sun but we have had lots of sunny days before without feeling the need to upset the Sir Bobby stand .Any thoughts? |  | | |  |

I noticed and assumed it was because if we had gone the other (usual) way Gerks would have had the sun in his eyes-not that that made any difference regarding their first goal.

Doesn't losing after winning the toss only make it a worse defeat?
If it was to prevent our keeper conceding a calamitous goal due to the sun in his eyes … what more can we say? |  |

I think that you can technically choose to kick off and let the opposition choose ends but I don't suppose that is ever done.
