Osborne has been using the ES to beat May with as well as blaming Khan for many of the problems he created as chancellor. His influence and targets are obvious.
I agree that the RMT should have looked at its investments more closely, but the whole 'you're a socialist so shouldn't engage with capitalism' angle is stupid. We live in a capitalist world. | |

You don;t have to invest in tobacco, banks and petrol though - that's arch capitalism.
