I’m going Southampton, ivan katalinic had a teacher. Looks like shirt has got pin stripes but no Pioneer logo so I’m confused on the year. 79, 80? Edit. Tache not teacher.

I think 79, too.
I think there is writing under the Town badge, which makes 79 most likely.
Southampton 79 kit had black shorts with red and white in side stripe:
Ok, so this is weird. Surely it's the goal around 1 minute 10 seconds to 1 minute 36 seconds here:
But in the photo Wark has a blue collar, and in the video it is white.
Unless that's the edit for the ball...
It's all weird as up to 81 we had a white collar and from 81-84 we had a blue collar - but this coincided with Pioneer on the shirt which the pic doesn't seem to have'
It doesn't make sense - unless the sponsors name were taken off for certain games? TV, FA Cup???
Edit; So it must between 81 - 84 and would have been on MOTD as they wouldn't accept sponsored shirts for a few years.
If it was against Soton then 81-82 is ruled out as it was a night game and 83-84 we didn't score - so it would be 82-83 if it was Soton

“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

John Wark celebrates after scoring for Ipswich Town during their First Division match against Sunderland at Portman Road in Ipswich, 29th August 1981. The match ended in a 3-3 draw.

Southampton wore white socks, i'm sure it's Stoke.
