But his logic has also changed.

Maybe because his own efforts over the past few years have left him nowhere else to go in his career.

What's wrong with changing his thinking? He's laid out his reasons for leaving, some of which weren't really apparently in 2016 when that tweet is linked from.

Just seems a pretty pointless thing to be linking. How is it adding to any debate?

How is anything adding to the debate?

Umunna was against Corbyn all the way and has been a disturbance within his own party and the PLP. Of course, he's going to be arguing for solidarity until it suits him to leave.

The reason you don't see a problem Zed is because like the glorious leader and his gang of thugs around him you are the problem.

I listened to Jess Phillips on the radio Friday she took a call from Momentum central it was disgusting and appalling the ferocity of this women calling in and attacking this female MP it was beyond comprehension and that in a 2 minute radio call in sums up Labour under the racist nasty leader.

You seem to be talking to me but replying to somebody else, so it’s difficult to understand how you’ve arrived at this point.

It’s even more difficult to understand what you mean. Calling me a problem fits the same confrontational and intolerant tenor you’re forging with your glorious leader / gang of thugs hyperbole.

May I suggest that you take some time to reflect on whether hundreds of thousands of people want to see austerity reversed, social and economic justice, no more devastation from overseas wars and hope for the future, or whether they’re just indoctrinated in a cult. It’s never been about Corbyn in this respect.

No, not at the moment

2 points: Corbyn is doing everything he can to betray the Labour vote who don't want to leave the EU, not the other way round.

And on Begum Corbyn is right, and it's clearly not a vote winning policy.

If your own child at the age of 15 was radicalised on the internet and professed support for an odious ideology, I'd expect you to support sitting them down and giving them a good talking to, rather than probably condemning them to an awful, awful life.

Why did remainers vote for Labour at the last election? The manifesto clearly stated that Labour would honour the referendum result.

Those who wanted to remain and voted Labour must be pretty bloody stupid.

Because there's only a binary choice in this country. And probably people thought Labour might even handle Brexit better than May, Davis and the other clowns.

But on a side note, it's insane to think people really vote for a manifesto lock, stock and barrel when there are only red and blue as realistic options.

Perhaps some people recognised that remain didn’t win but still wanted to vote for the party they thought would represent their beliefs and interests best.

Far-fetched, I know.

I appreciate some people may have voted Labour in the hope that they would eventually come out and say, you know what, the result of that first referendum was wrong. I think things would now be a lot less fractured 2/3 years down the line than they are if everyone had looked beyond that singleminded approach and the equally singleminded approach referenced in your post. Compromise is and has always been the only way forward.

That’s the question the ‘gang of thugs’ will ask themselves when they decide who to vote for.

I was listening to Richard Burgon talk yesterday. He was making some good points about wanting to set up new justice centres in every town if elected, to give people an opportunity to have somebody in their corner that wouldn’t otherwise. Single mums vs landlords, victims of the windrush scandal vs home office etc. It’s things like this that are always overlooked by people that dismiss the change in direction by Labour as a glorious leader magic grandpa fantasy cult. It’s always been bigger than Corbyn.

On such a major subject people voted for a party who promised to implement Brexit, even though those said voters wanted to remain. Sheer blind allegiance tribal stupidity the Liberals were the clear remain choice.

No. That is just you making up stuff. The word honour does not appear. What does is -

'Labour accepts the referendum result and a Labour government will put the national interest first.'

I would say everyone I have met accepts the result. Unfortunately it's the ones who cannot accept what an advisory vote means (the clue is in the first 5 letters of the first word).

For the UK to leave the EU means a change in legislation. Something that can only be enacted by Parliament. A Parliament that is different to that of June 2016, as is both the government and the PM.

You what?

The LibDems are literally no choice. Waste of a vote in terms of the direction of this country over the next few years including Brexit.

Strange though, why vote for a party that is going to complete the opposite of what you want and that action is ridiculed at every turn?

Tribal loyalty rather than what is best for the country.

Yep that's just what we need more money wasted, more bureaucracy, more paid government staff.....sounds brilliant! Seriously every town to get this how much money would something like this actually cost....its so scary how deluded the left are when they are wanting to spend other peoples money!

Yes, providing a voice for those who don't have a voice is 'wasting money' ?

As to your whine about cost that was the objection to the NHS, who could see no profit in treating the poor. Unless they were required to be patched up and sent back to the front.

Maybe we could rid ourselves of social workers, care homes and mental health care.... or perhaps that is what is already happening. So do lets us know how much of a dividend you've received from all this cost cutting.

Trident's a practical bargain in comparison. But of course you cannot mention this because nuclear warheads have a notoriously short shelf-life.

I'm intrigued as to how people think Labour can go back? There seems to have been a root and branch takeover by Momentum. The days of Labour as a centre ground party look to be over.

That's nonsense. It's an inevitable result of our outdated first past the post system.

You end up voting for the party that's most representative and often just to stop the other monolithic party from getting in. But you know this.

Absolutely right. The only way forward is to vote Tory. I've heard austerity is over finally- congrats for all your sacrifices- they have been noted. Libraries and Sure Start centres re-opening after 30th March.
