Im not sure people have been watching him properly in the last couple of games. Constantly wanting the ball, makign himself available, then truning deftly out of trouble before picking passes which are invariably accurate, and sometimes brilliant. |
I don't disagree. Always wanting the ball is becoming a good hall mark of his and is typically the sign of a good player but consistency has to be his goal now. It's all well being good on the ball and picking a good pass but there needs to be a return. I'm hoping he has a good end to the season and becomes a default choice opening game in August but we'll only have a handful of kids starting so places will be limited. Is he the best of your youngsters to warrant automatic selection? I'd say Lankester and Bishop would be ahead of him in that respect. |  |

You do realise it involves drifting in off the wing into that space to pick the ball up and then play the perfect pass for the run made? How many perfect through balls to give a striker such a clear chance can you remember this season? |  |
