Good article here, I remember being quite excited when we signed him.

I recall him being at Town, although I don't think I saw his appearance at home to Crewe, I thought I saw him play in another game. Maybe it was a pre-season friendly?
I didn't remember we'd got him as a Liverpool cast off or his unfortunate exit from Town.

WOW, I don't really remember him.

A shame to see wasted talent, but good to see that i looks to have worked out OK.

Friars' main achievement was to enable us to postpone matches when Wright and Scowy were away for England U21 matches - that gave us the three players we needed.

Edit: That was a really good article, thanks for posting.

I remember him very well. It was clear for a while that he had major lifestyle issues, well before the final police incident. Such a shame for such a talent. He was a nice kid then, and it looks like he eventually became a fulfilled adult.

Does it all come back to how football clubs look after their players, of whatever age? Could this still happen now? Maybe it does and I don't know.

We signed him?

He arrived on the same day as someone from Arsenal who also disappeared without trace. Terry something?

I was going to post the same. See Stuart Niven as another one in that bracket.

I have no recollection at all of him being at Town. Glad his story has had a happy ending though.
