If we've just signed 20 odd goals in L1 for both of the past 2 seasons, to partner our 29 goal man, both on a free, then we really are cooking on gas. Not to mention the best midfield in the league supporting them - Judge, Lankaster, Dozzell, Huws, Bishop, Nolan, Skuse, Downes, Edwards....
1 or 2 choice defensive signings (perhaps on season long loans), move a few heads on to make way a la Roberts, Emmanuel, Rowe and I'm more than happy with this squad. It's actually stronger than Hurst's was going in to last season IMO. I would be surprised if he comes here though, particularly as he's suggesting he's stepping up a league.
