Thoughts on last night and the future of British politics? DM if easier.
Absolutely over the moon that Corbyn is finished. Other than that this is my reaction.
Well done Corbynistas by GlasgowBlue12 Dec 2019 22:16 I think a majority of this size is a disaster for the country. It gives Johnson a mandate to take the country down very dark road.
An ideal result, as I said yesterday, would be a hung parliament that saw the other parties demand the resignation of either Corbyn or Johnson as a condition of a deal.
I on't take any notice of what Vaper trail says. He's an angry embittered lonely weirdo who has a rather worrying obsession with me.
Edit. We can still hope that Johnson loses his own seat which will be at least some small comfort.

You’re free to do what you want of course, but I’m not too convinced you can lobby incessantly against the Tory’s main rival and then wring your hands over the Tories getting in. It’s the constant attacks on Labour that helped deliver the result.

I make no apology for speaking out against the main enabler of racism that can affect members of my family. None at all.
I didn’t vote Conservative. My vote, or non vote, made no difference to Johnson getting into number 10.
Had Labour not been lead by an antisemite, Marxist terrorist sympathiser I may well have lent my politically homeless vote to Labour.

I wouldn’t expect anyone to not stand up to racism, so I wasn’t looking for an apology and there’s no need for one. That’s absolutely the right thing to do. You seemed to be in full campaign mode though and not solely related to the antisemitism allegations (maybe that’s how we all come across on here though - 🤷â€â™‚ï¸).

Oh dear. Somebody has had one too many bottles of Buckfast.
Wish I had! Today has been miserable all round. Everyone tetchy, childish celebrations and lots of ‘winners’ with zero class, emboldened a-holes all over social media, losing candidates getting loads of vile abuse, losers getting morose, Labour dicks at each other’s throats. And on top of all of that trying to come to terms with 39,000 people voting for Francois.

You could come up with something more original than stealing footers tired old lines.
I think you are the master of copy and paste not I. That you still pretend that a Labour victory today would have increased the risk of torch wielding racists threatening your family, when the reality is that a Brexit party supported by working class soft and hard racists and a Conservative party welcomed by Hopkins and Robinson have achieved your goal should tell everybody how thoroughly disingenuous you are....just own it, that is all!
.....mate!
