With his pace, is he not better suited to wing play?

Doesn't really seem a natural goal scorer.

He works hard, gets a few assists but just doesn't seem to be a frontman, would rather give Keane/Norwood a go together.

I know everyone loves him on here, so I'm sure I'll get shot down, but just my view.

RIP Sir Bobby

What a load of nonsense.

Whilst Churchman has gone fully overboard there, one thing he states is very true. His touch his horrendous, I'm sure he has a trampoline as a boot, probably why he won't be good enough for Championship.

I think he is good at this level, his pace frightens defenders.

I agree that Keane/Sears combo would be best but they'd need time. PL should keep Jackson/Norwood but sub them for last 20 mins. Don't understand why PL leaves it so late when subs can't get into game in such short time.
As for Norwood he seems to have lost confidence as he was much more instinctive before.

Norwood seems to be trying to force the issue too much and cuts a very frustrated figure. As you say, he's an instinctive player so needs to be able to just play his game without putting extra pressure on himself because the whole team aren't performing.

I'd be interested to see what Terry Connor could do with him, unfortunately we'll never know.

Definitely. I think he’d be really effective as an inside forward, he can also ping a cross too. When sears is back up to speed I’d love to try Jackson and Sears on the flanks with Norwood or Keane in the middle in a 4-3-3. Now with Bish coming back too we have more than enough centre mids for it to work.
