That’s part of the problem, when we naively think that other sides are below us. We’re where we find ourselves on merit and what it’s currently showing is there are better teams than us in L1, probably 6 or 7 teams once we get to 44 games mark. |

At the start of the season I said we would be lucky to finish in the top 8 with the squad we have and the level of investment put in. That looks like it's going to be correct as we enter the final furlong.
The players are clearly behind the manager so whether or not you agree with his team selection, you must agree that he has them motivated at the very least. Blaming Lambert is pointless, he has a 5 year contract, he's the best manager we can attract at this level, and the problems and faults of this football club all lie at the door of Evans.
If you defend a man for 'keeping us afloat' whilst presiding over a Titanic-esque descent as an actual football club then all you're really doing is saying it's better to slowly fade away into obscurity rather than dramatically blow up.
I will go to more games this season, I can't stay away from supporting my team. I will continue to cheer on Lambert and the boys we have because I believe that by and large they are doing the best they can. But I will not be buying anything else from the club aside from tickets until the Madness of Marcus is over. He's had enough of my money whilst kicking me in the balls already. |  | | |
