Would anyone like Hyam back? (n/t) on 19:26 - Jun 24 by ArnieM | Does that say more about the calibre of players Town have in more recent times, than what they do after they’ve left us? There was a time under SBR, that when a player left us or we released did actually go and do something. Talbot ( Arsenal), Wark ( Liverpool), Butcher ( Rangers), Muhren ( Utd), Brazil ( Spurs). Guess that was a sign of just how good Robson's players were. TWTD! |
How many Town players have actually gone onto better things since having left us over the last two decades? Dyer Bramble Ambrose Bent Kuqi (although it didn't last long) Walters Cresswell Mings Webster Waghorn (more because we have fallen) McGoldrick Davis maybe?

Would anyone like Hyam back? (n/t) on 19:18 - Jun 24 by Illinoisblue | Nope. But it is interesting to see a player (like Westlake before him) go from regular championship starter to obscurity in just a few years |
Similar story to Hyam, injuries impacted his career after he left here.

But, he's one of our own" As, incidentally, is Liam Trotter who's still only 32, and whiling away the long days playing for Orange County (sounds idyllic). Although he did have a more significant career than Luke. There must be many others aged between 25-35 who we might be able to tempt back, assuming that they're either not on L1 money, or completely shot.

Post of the week. If he hadn't played for us, nobody would indeed be contributing to a thread about whether to have him back. [Post edited 25 Jun 2020 12:59]

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
