New rules at Portman Road when we go back 07:57 - Aug 16 with 6968 views | MaySixth | masks compulsary sitting down enforced Staggered arrivial times Groups of up to six from two different households can sit together Ballots or loyalty points-based systems to allocate tickets fairly, with season ticket holders receiving refunds for each game they are not given a seat. Season ticket holders unlikely tol be able to sit in their usual blocks, let alone seats, as the different permutations of groups for each game could see them tour the stadium throughout the campaign Very unlikely that there will be any away fans at games initially. Temperature checks for everyone Passports required Every ground will need at least one rehearsal before opening night and this is likely to be a game with half of the ground’s revised capacity. The EFL is understood to be keen on using September’s early rounds of the Carabao Cup or EFL Trophy for their test events

New rules at Portman Road when we go back on 13:18 - Aug 17 by TJS | I renewed my season ticket but to be honest I am not sure I can be bothered to actually attend matches with all that in place. The matchday experience sounds like it is going to be so awful you might as well stay at home if they are live streaming it. If it stays like that beyond next season I will probably just give up. |
The livestream's pretty good option if there's going to be little to no atmosphere and lots of hassle in the grounds. No travel time, no public transport of parking hassles. Yu don't get wet when it rains and the beer is always cold or the tea always hot. Then you get the full fan experience by coming on here and calling chambo a donkey!

New rules at Portman Road when we go back on 10:54 - Aug 18 by MaySixth | Whispers are stadium capacity is going to be 30%....wouldn't that cover all ST holders spaced around the ground? |
Perhaps, although it's complicated by things like the ends of rows not being available for use. Might be lower than that to start with then working up to 30 per cent.

New rules at Portman Road when we go back on 09:23 - Aug 17 by Keno | Oh what!! Not Rotation again, that's what did for us last season we need a settled set of fans ion their right positions so they all know what they doing through out the game, this will simply mean the wrong people will tut at the wrong times. All that rotating fans will end up with is people facing the wrong way |
It's be like the musical box at the start of Camberwick Green....

There's an opportunity here to develop TWTD's virtual match day experience. This time next year you could be a millionaire!

New rules at Portman Road when we go back on 15:17 - Aug 16 by Ely_Blue | I guess that depends on how many replied in the survey regarding not going back but also how many bubbles of 6 there are vs single people wanting to go alone |
Didnt realise this was a serious thread...but from a medical standpoint there are two large groups of ST holders who pose a serious health threat for different reasons.: Pensioners and 'the vulnerable, for want of better words... sitting around in cold chilly crowded conditions The dont tell me I cant stand, I'm entitled to my opinion brigade who simply dont like to follow normal rules. Thats the majority of season ticket holders... probably
