The managerial dream team suggestion 17:20 - Sep 1 with 3570 viewsBluefish

Why not Dyer as manager with gorgeous Mick as a real Director of Football?

Burley was seen as the dream ticket but he has been out of the game a long time. We know Mick is the masterful magician and he can work with Marcus. Kieron can learn off the master

Lampard hadn't done a lot either, or Gerrard.

....and was then assistant 1st team coach at Fulham under both Jokanovic and Ranieri.

He was then caretaker manager, before being made full time manager.

A natural progression.

Indeed.

What has Dyer's natural progression been so far...

Robson has been sacked before the Town job, so I guess you wouldn't have appointed him?

I dint actually care what managerial experience Dyer has or hasn't got, he isnt Paul Lambert and that has to be a huge plus!!

Aren't they all former players with relatively limited coaching experience at youth level?

Thats easy

Bloots as DOF and you (Bluefish) as first team coach

Phil can be the press guy

Hoppy can do all the pouncey art stuff

Facters can be the club historian

Fixed can be youth team scout

Romers can help with running training

Sitters can look after the kit

what on earth could go wrong

Yes, they both got plum jobs with no experience, Keiron would be coming into a L1 team in the doldrums, a great place to start.

Burley - DoF
Magilton - Manager
Dyer - Assistant Manager

That has to be the way forward, surely? What have we got to lose apart from paying off Lamberts contract?

I'd be better as DoF anyway. Give me overall control

Why would Magilton give ME the time of day after the way he treated him last time and also Dyer and Burley don't get on apparently.

What has Dyer done remotely in first team managerial roles. He hasn’t even been in the back room staff of a first team job yet.

Let him go and learn the craft first, and one day I hope he manages us, I really do.

Yes, he should go and learn his trade at one of those clubs that managers go and learn their trade at, you know, a floundering, mid-table League One club, then...

Oh.

It's a deal.

As long as CGS isn't allowed near the coffee cups, or J2 near the canteen.

Or should it be the other way round?

One mention of coffee cups, and up he pops, in a manner of speaking.
