It's clearly not just about photo-gate is it? That's the straw that broke the camel's back after months of frustration/annoyance/anger.
Players are in close contact with members of the press at every club, it's not anything new. And you can be sure the EADT have sat on stuff in the past - they aren't all out to air dirty linen. |
It can't be months of frustration because football hasn't existed for 'months'. I think pre season has been ok given the amount of time off, we are clearly trying to build an identity.
We have a good squad, Lambert looks as though he is going more down the tough love route, is that an issue? The players have had it easy here for years. |  |

This ill feeling goes back well into last season - that is a fact. Any owner with their finger on the pulse would have got rid of him before this pre-season even started.
It's not an issue if it works but it hasn't/isn't. I'll eat my hat if we fly out of the blocks this season with Lambert in charge. |  | | |
