What I love about science, more than anything else, is that it's not afraid to go against itself. In that if something that was originally thought and tested to be true is then found, with further more advance tests, to be incorrect or somewhat different, it's accepting of those facts and changes accordingly.

Falsifiability is absolutely central to scientific knowledge, just ask Karl Popper.
