I see that our awful, bag of sh1t, local MP has caught the attention of the Secret Barrister with his continued, ill informed, populist bullsh1t.

...well that would all depend on who makes the law and whose interest it serves innit, especially when it comes to International law!

I wonder what Mr Hunt would deem a more appropriate sentence for breaking international law in a specific and limited way?

Or is it just certain other sectors of society who should get harsher sentences?

I find it somewhat bizarre that the 'radical left are now the fan boys for 'International law!'

I presume that reply was meant for me ...

maybe I am not actually the "radical left" and never have been. Maybe I have always supported the rule of law?

You presume wrong...it is a general observation on recent outrage.

Edit.....again the question is, whose law?

Fair enough. I am sure there are those on the "radical left" who would normally oppose all rule of law. However, there are those of us who oppose this Government who are not anarchists and are consistent in our outrage at the idea of breaking the law to suit.

Definitely do not take my general observation as in any way supportive of the actions of Cummings and co.

I don’t think radical lefts oppose the law as such, more oppose laws that are oppressive. But in some cases the law is a moral debate. The fact it targets sections of society heavier, alongside the fact you can buy your way out of trouble and be above it, are the issues with the law IMO (as a “radical leftist”).

Although in principle as an Anarchist the law shouldn’t exist if humanity could figure out how to largely operate morally. Pie in the sky thinking I admit, but one can dream.

I believe he's been talking nonsense on housing suggesting it should only be for local people

Great populist gesturing although none of his statements seem to correspond with reality

He also wants the licence fee scrapped

Man of the people is Tom

Most people who mention the licence fee to me seem to believe they'll still get the exact same BBC coverage but they just won't have to pay.

Truly impaired.
