This is what happens when footballers, among others in the public eye, are so accessible these days in the form of social media. What should be positive way of interacting with the sort of people an everyday Joe wouldn't have had the privilege of doing 20-30 years ago now, is a potential vehicle for divs to demean other human beings.

Given it was sent at 8.46pm its either a low life town fan, a low life Doncaster fan sad enough to message our players instead of celebrate a win or a low life randomer who is sad enough to spend £10 to watch a game on iFollow between two teams they don’t support.

It does, and social media has become a platform to hide keyboard and screen and get away with whatever they want to say.
It is almost as if people forget the person on the other end of the message is only human.
It honestly couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Toto hand on heart is one of nicest guys I've met, really feel for him when he gets personal stick.
Toto will know he had a poor game last night, he won't have walked off the pitch thinking he was outstanding, and he certainly doesn't need to be the recipient of personal abuse for it. He's human, mistakes will happen. [Post edited 21 Oct 2020 15:12]
