£5 says he doesn't start more than 1 youngster tomorrow.

The guy is a hypocrite through and through.

Kenlock?! Young? C'mon now.

I'm calling this one a draw.

Is 23 not young?

Besides, he said no more than one youngster. Even if we don't count Kenlock I still win.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

23 is not a youngster. Obviously.

There is no way in hell someone who turns 24 in 2 weeks is a youngster anymore.

Clearly it is about our own players? Our youngsters have actual contracts that go beyond 6 months from now...

Not all of them do. And besides, we don't know - Bennets and/or McGuinness might stay longer if we're promoted.

There's no 'clearly' about it. You didn't say anything about loan players.

Not surprised you're welching on your bet.

And who is to say McGuinness and Bennetts will not be here next season? Plenty of loan players have returned.

The loan argument is a separate argument.

I think there is a big argument that we should have gone much stronger today and then play the really youthful weakened side on Tuesday.

I thought the argument was that Lambert doesn't play youngsters. Wherever they've come from, they're still youngsters and they're playing.

I, for one, am delighted to see Bennetts starting. I'd like to see what he can do. Same for McGavin actually.

If we'd put any MORE youngsters in I think we'd be too inexperienced.

£5 for what? Literally the only youngster playing is McGavin.

Please tell me you aren't counting other club's players that will be gone at the end of the season.

You need to consider who you are dealing with in the future, there was more chance of trump accepting his defeat than dilly accepting this clear defeat.

There is 1 youngster

What's the point of any of the discussions on here if you don't believe you're right and want to prove it?

I'm genuinely not bothered about 'winning the internet' as some of you seem to call it. I just think, in this instance, the OP's assertion that Lambert doesn't play youngsters is demonstrably false.

It's wrongness that annoys me, not winning the internet!
