I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

I don't particularly rate him. I don't think I've seen enough to judge either way. I think comparatively, the Lambert-outers want immediate results by virtue of the fact they wanted him gone really early (IMO). I think the job is much bigger and longer than that (though that's not to say Lambert is the man for it or that there are no other obstacles, such as Evans himself).

Feel free to disagree but don't get angry and call it nonsense. It's just my opinion and it has logic to it. I'm not suggesting the moon in made of suits and potatoes.

How much do you need to see? We're 2 years in. No other club in the entire football league would've given him this much time. There's not a single manager with a longer tenure than Lambert whose record is comparably bad.

The idea that any manager is just bad for a few seasons and then suddenly discovers a formula is a total myth. Good managers improve certain things relatively quickly - the team's shape, positional discipline, levels of application, the confidence of the players, the coherence and balance of the starting lineup. There's usually some uptick in results in the short term, even if it's quite modest. Other stuff takes a few months - coaching, patterns of play, recruiting higher quality players - but this "sorting it out over a period of years" stuff is just a fairy story. It just doesn't happen.

He’s talking absolute garbage - as he has done for 2 years. He’s stealing a living trying to keep his income rolling in with words.

The fact is the club is in its worse position in its professional existence in every way and it’s worsening by the week. Everything about the club is rotting away. Standards are zero, the club is in the third tier of English football and the reality is that anyone with a brain cell knew little underdog Ipswich stood no chance at Doncaster, Lincoln and Sunderland. Portsmouth at home? We gave them a game for half an hour. Let’s break out the open top bus.

We scraped a win against mighty Crewe though! Whoopee. We will drift down the league just as we did last year with Lambert giving his ‘the earth is really flat’ press conferences with his usual trapped wind expression on his face.

I know there’s zippo anyone can do about it but for me, it’s not good enough and not acceptable.

He’s in the right ball park though isn’t he. Everything about the club is below the required standard. There isn’t sufficient care given to anything about the place. It’s an embarrassment of a football club currently, and I don’t believe that we have bottomed out yet.

And just to add, Lambert out.

Trailing vapour since 1999.
