Now you've had the misfortune of engaging with me on the subject, should I now start shouting you down like the swivel eyed loon that I am?

So you missed the numerous posts in between where I have stated that I was wrong to vote leave, that the cooperative and mutual respectful Brexit with the benefits of opening immigration to more people from outside the EU has been highjacked by swivel eyed loons and nutters?

I mean, I posted all of the above several times over the past couple of years and you replied to some of those threads.

I think part of the issue is your refusal to accept what is pointed out at the time and to then say you regret voting how you did only to repeat the performance.

You are typical of who this Government needs to keep them in power. They will do away with Johnson and many of his friends before the next election and blame everything on him rather than who they are as a party and the next nasty typical of them leader will be seen as a breath of fresh air. Hunt/Gove/Hancock/Patel/Rees-Mogg or someone who is fresher and less tainted by all this Government has done will soon be the new blue-eyed boy.

It is telling that the right of the Conservative Party has turned on Johnson because he is not radical enough. Who would have thought that fighting so hard to steal the ground from UKIP and co would lead to the Conservative root support being so right wing?

I am glad you now recognise that Brexit is a disaster and that you should never have voted for it. However, I am also fairly sure that if the campaign was fought afresh next year you would vote for it all over again on the basis you still believe there is a position to be held by someone like Cameron (who was so opposed to it that he resigned) that would somehow gain us something.

I didn't vote Conservative at the last election.

After all your postings about keeping Corbyn out?

I suppose you are in a constituency where a SNP vote or similar is not a wasted vote.

Might be the fact of your previous posting about how you voted Leave and the benefits of it, and now starting a thread about this deal being close.

Just because I wanted to keep out an incompetent racist doesn't mean that I would vote to put a racist incompetent in.

You are right about the SNP majority but until two weeks before the election I was going to vote LibDem.

I had a feeling the Government has something about 50 000 but I couldn't find it anywhere and found that one. I forgot that was actually Vallance, you are right.
