America. It seemed like a good idea at the time. 20:41 - Jan 6 with 1022 viewsThe_Flashing_Smile

I can only presume these Trump supporters have been brainwashed by his rhetoric and Fox News, because there's no actual evidence of the voter fraud they're claiming and now storming the Capitol building about.

And we're only slightly better here.

The film Idiocracy is coming true. What a bat-sh!t mental world we now live in. It's never been this bad in my lifetime.

Me and the missus are thinking of de-camping our lives to a self-sufficient island in Scotland and going off-grid, to get away from all this nonsense. If Darwin was alive now I think he'd revise his theory. As a kid in the 70s I always thought it was nuclear war that would destroy us.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Brainwashing presupposes a brain in the target or targets.

Interesting you mention Darwin. I have long thought that in hundreds of years people will look back at the turn of the millennium as the point we threw evolution into reverse.

The earth will have rid itself of human beings way before two hundred years have past.

Unless you lived in the Balkans or Rwanda, there was a golden era between the Berlin Wall coming down in 1989 and 9/11 in 2001. Since then the world has regressed. The War On Terror. The Credit Crunch/Financial meltdown and the austerity on the back of it. Brexit.

At the time of 9/11 Ipswich were in the Premier League, relegation, administration and the glorious reign of Marcus Evans ever since.

It’s been grim hasn’t it. Pretty shocking when you put it like that.

First couple of seasons down when we lost to Wet Spam and that one season where we sneaked into the playoffs under Mick and got done by the scum. That's all folks.
