Drinan has deserved a goal. Kenlock played well. 1 point. 17:06 - Jan 30 with 725 viewsDarth_Koont

Those are the positives.

Apart from that, it looked like a lower-half League One scrap. And we look so ordinary in the final third. Also telling that we couldn’t get Thomas on the ball at all.

Now that the playoffs are slipping away, it must be time to act. There’s nothing here to suggest a transition or us building towards something.

Yep. There is no justification for carrying on like this. It has to change immediately.

Glad we went to 2 up top eventually and for parts of the game we were at least doing the passing 20 yards higher up the pitch but it's no different to those famous 20 minute spells under Hurst.

Play offs is still very much achievable if Evans makes a change, but if not it'll be another stuttering 11th place finish.

It will be interesting to see how much difference Harrop makes next week.
From the touch line when Judge starts.

Agree with all your points. Donacien and Kenlock are fairly decent L1 players but must have been desperate for them to watch how easy are flanks have been to exploit this season. Funnily enough it’s been our left hand side mostly this season but today it was more our right.

Yes, there’s often enough to suggest there’s sufficient quality in the squad that a new manager could do something with.

Kenlock looked better than Ward has done for the past few weeks. I'd say he was arguably our best player today and deserves to keep his place.

Drinan has some potential and so glad he got his goal. Hoping he comes good.

We started the game well, but once Crewe figured us out we didn't really trouble apart from the goal which was crappy defending from them.

We finally got two up top and scored a scrappy goal. But the caveat was that we took off our wingers (lol); Bishop is not a right winger and Judge needs to be kept as far away from the left wing as possible.

The thing that was really pishing me off was when they got a goal kick, they passed it to their centreback and Thomas would close down. Then they'd just pass to their left back who was ALWAYS in acres of space. What's the point in Thomas closing down if the left back is always an option?!

Rubbish runs can be turned around as Oxford are showing. But I can't see how we can get out of this mess with the current management.
