That's a ridiculous point. Are you saying we should never get another owner again because they might be as bad as Evans? Should we apply the same logic to the manager? Are you still with the first girl you kissed? |
No, what I'm saying that we should be careful to hype up a new owner as a Knight in shining armour and laud them to be a saviour etc when we don't know anything about them.
We did that with Evans and look how that has turned. As a manager, people got excited about Hurst, but that went belly up.
I just prefer to be a little more cautious and let a new owner prove their words and worth before throwing roses at them as they've arrived. I thought Evans would be our white Knight (as did many), just not going to get overly excited until I see progress.
