Negative nelly is here
....I'd rather Evans just immediately appoints a competent CEO with a proven footballing background, then tasks him with binning Lambert and appointing someone half decent.
Then that CEO can concentrate on running the club for the better.
Selling out to some random pretzel eater doesn't feel sensible at the moment.

Wheres the proof he does that? Links?
This is an internet forum. Proof has very little to do with anything. All that matters here is the individual posters opinion is always right....to that individual poster.

I don't know what is more tedious. The "this is definitely happening!!!!!111" gang basing it on a few pieces of flimsy evidence or the posters desperately trying to act like they are too cool to care.
On balance I think there is probably something in this. The link is too random, the little hints (can't call them evidence) too odd and the way the club fits what they look to invest in as if it was literally written about us just adds up to too much.
Don't get me wrong, "something" could be a million different shades of grey. It COULD be:
1) They are buying the club. Could be. I think people are putting the club down a lot when they say why would anyone buy us? We could easily rise again. A decent manager and we'd likely be a division higher. At that point decent club and team management and anything is possible.
2) They made an informal enquiry, were told the club isn't for sale, followed us on social media to keep an eye on things and have now found another club to invest in.
3) Brett Johnson, who seems a decent bloke from what i've seen (very limited) thinks it's funny he's being linked at random and is just trolling us
4-1,000,000) Other options
Lets wait and see. Johnson seems to care about Phoenix Rising. We seem to fit their investment strategy to a tee. I'm not willing to write this off yet and i'm definitely not willing to say it's happening based on some pretty weak links.

The most tedious are, of course, the fence-sitters. As in politics, as in football.

....is that if (massive if) there is anything in it, there is this immediate assumption that it's a good thing.
I can remember fans waving £50 notes at Norwich when Evans turned up, say no more.
I guess the question is, do we fix the club to make the team better, or do we fix the team to make the club better?
One of those things needs to happen.
My view is that 2 decent appointments, a manager and a CEO, from Evans would go a long way to solving our problems.
(caveat, yes I know this is Evans)
