....is that if (massive if) there is anything in it, there is this immediate assumption that it's a good thing.
I can remember fans waving £50 notes at Norwich when Evans turned up, say no more.
I guess the question is, do we fix the club to make the team better, or do we fix the team to make the club better?
One of those things needs to happen.
My view is that 2 decent appointments, a manager and a CEO, from Evans would go a long way to solving our problems.

....I'd rather Evans just immediately appoints a competent CEO with a proven footballing background, then tasks him with binning Lambert and appointing someone half decent.
Then that CEO can concentrate on running the club for the better.

Given Evans has had 13 years here and done pretty badly throughout there's been remarkably little "Evans out" noise from fans until relatively recently - and even then the greater criticism is still reserved for the manager. |  |
