I've seen plenty say he was stupid, but none saying he'd get sacked.
Likewise, with so little time left, it's probable that he and Gill will only be here for a short term, perhaps until the end of the season. And who knows, he might jump ship if Lambert gets something. Walker left Sunderland pretty easily so can move around.
Gill has heavy connections with Lambert, I thought, so again probably short lived and Cook has already indicated he wants to bring his own man in from Wigan at the end of the season. | | | |
