Of course lots more needed. But you can a difference happening.
We had 3/4 players around their box. Our issue was not having confidence to get that ball into them.

We rarely had that many players that high up.

Defensive line was a lot higher too.

All in all progress imo

We never looked like scoring though.

And that's based on PC hardly having had any training sessions with them yet.

And PC will be well aware of that. That's the difference he actually watches the same games we do.

Sorry, I’m struggling to see any meaningful difference to how we were playing prior to Gill taking the reins. At least then we were looking to be more direct and were actually creating a few chances. We now seem to have reverted to a ponderous build up with Norwood isolated again.

Jesus man, have some patience!

PC has had about 5 hours of training sessions with the guys.

Realism please.

Lincoln are further ahead than us in their progression

We gave them a really good game

Which I thoroughly enjoyed

We need to be as good against Plymouth, create more chances and we will win

We're still just very very slow in the build up. Something that really gets on my nerves that has been present for ages is every time a midfielder takes a ball side on, they always turn towards our goal. Even if they end up keeping the ball and moving forward afterwards, just gives the opposition a chance to get in front of them and slow down the build up.

Cook needs to drill some positivity and quick thinking into these players.
