Paul Cook is the real deal 21:20 - Mar 11 with 3086 viewsunstableblue

Yes I know he’s two games in without a win. But again the below interview is making me feel more confident about the guy, his views, his attitude, his approach.

Just really impressed. Let’s back this guy to the hilt. Different gravy under Marcus.

I imagine that many Championship sides and every Prem side paid better.

of course

but Mick wasn't wanted by any one else, funny that for someone so good

but hey ho, we all move on

How do you know he wasn't wanted? Mick made it pretty clear he'd only leave for certain jobs, it's not like he was touting himself around. Funny that for someone who thought he was too good for us.

What was there to tout, midtable, bottom half, fk off fans,

open to offers lads.......

If anyone wanted him, he'd have gone, 10000%, but they didn't as he didn't do anything after the first couple seasons,

“Good egg”, once again with the bald shaming. Disgraceful.

Who am I to "Judge"? ;)

Clearly you have forgotten the Lambo Love In when he was cheered all the way to relegation...not to mention the misguided early enthusiasm for every dud manager of the Evans era, apart perhaps for Jewell

Just a note of caution - Cook's brief includes being relentlessly upbeat to make the club appear more sellable to offshore vultures who have no knowledge of what they are buying.

But yes - at face value he appears to be the first sensible managerial appointment by Evans. Whether he can do anything given the contraints of working in a cash-strapped vacuum is a moot point. Noboady else has managed to, so far.

He took us into the play offs in his third season and to 7th the season after that?

These things above, they are what are known as 'facts'. What you are putting out are unsupported assertions.

So you're saying he started off doing a fine job, yet still no one was linked with him, other than Ireland of course

No. Essentially I'm saying, as politely as possible, that I think you're talking rubbish.

I don't recall Mick skipping many pressers.

Weird post. What does Lambert have to do with Mick? That wasn’t the point of Badger’s post. Your down arrows for every negative connotation of Mick is bewildering.
