Woke snowflakes and their cancel culture!! on 11:57 - Mar 12 by BlueandTruesince82 | Instead of cancelling shows such as this what the BBC should be doing is finding a more diverse range of people, comedians, presenters etc so that a full range of views cab be discussed. That's sais the beeb can't do right for doing wrong with both the left and right claiming its bias against them. |
If idiots on both side of the divide are claiming 'bis' surely would that mean that it's already balanced and diverse...

Or not that good and promoting false balance. The BBC as a whole has a wide and varied output that is worth supporting. However, it’s national news coverage online and on TV is decidedly sub-par – and that should be its most important public service.

It's surprising how dumbed down it's become. You don't realise it at the time, but it's crept up on us to the point that now it's almost worthless. Not quite, but of far less worth than some more fringe sources today. The rush to fill pages/airwaves, 24/7 with rolling 'news' doesn't help either as it seemingly doesn't leave time for much investigation or critical analysis. I honestly find the weather pages the most useful part of the BBC, which is pretty damning. Some of the BBC1 headline dramas are pretty good too still. Current affairs not so much. iPlayer gives them an opportunity to screen more niche stuff, which they slowly seem to be waking up to.
