Player of the season so far? (n/t) on 12:30 - Mar 15 with 416 views | dirtyboy | Bearing in mind it's over the season 'so far' I hate the flack Chambers gets from a very vocal minority, so whilst has his detractors, has been consistent, had to play with different pairings beside him and in front of him (and Cook talks about the importance of knowing your pairings) and yet has still done a job under difficult circumstances. He got skinned in a foot race last week and came under scruitiny and yet nearly every RB in the league would have been left for dust by that player! He's just a good old fashioned decent defender, doing his best, not doing a lot wrong other than not being fast and doing step-overs before winging in crosses in the final third. Dozzell has done well under similar circumstances, playing regularly a little inconsistency, but that comes from the whole team not being played that way. Wilson has done well in particular. Judge's recent form much improved. But going back, Chambers started well, form dipped a bit with everyone, but he stayed in the team and Mattheson looked way out of place when he came in and Chambers has done more than adequately of late. So, on reflection, so far, Chambers. Still all to play for.

Perhaps Chambo will get 12-15 goals.

That's a really nice way of putting it. I genuinely believe we'll see that player start to emerge, wouldn't be surprised to see Troy Parrott be the one, maybe not on 12-15 goals, but if he can get into double figures before the season ends?? Who knows.

Player of the season so far? (n/t) on 07:36 - Mar 14 by BseaBlue | I bet he has a better ppg ratio than any other player over the last two seasons. Its not a coincidence he has come back into the side and we start getting good results. |
What's missing from the suggestions so far is any attacker. The defence has performed very well despite having forwards that can't score and midfield that can't provide decent suppor.t So for me its a straight call between the current 4 defenders with perhaps Wilson shading it. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Although I'm more inclined to vote for Wilson at the moment, Chambers would be close - and he's almost certainly going to win goal of the year.
