Lambert and Gill got Town to within one point of the top six... 15:09 - Mar 20 with 5500 views | pointofblue | Now we’re dropping back it’s all the players fault? No blame for Cook for being so rigid on his thinking he can’t try a tactic which might work for us with the players who we have available?

Lambert and Gill got Town to within one point of the top six... on 08:51 - Mar 22 by pointofblue | I wrote the OP in a fit of emotion after the game and wish I’d phrased it in the way itfcjoe has just now, as I agree with what he says. |
Fair enough, a much more reasoned reply than that ToeTw@t.

Lambert and Gill got Town to within one point of the top six... on 08:49 - Mar 22 by itfcjoe | I think if aim was to get up this season then Cowley would have been a better shout - will get them organised quicker, will work with what they have and be adaptable. That's not Cook, which you'd assume Evans would be aware of. The salary cap going is a massive change, and means promotion this season isn't as important as it was. But, with this week on the training ground, and next week in reality too, we need to start beating some of these bottom teams and getting up to 75/76 points for the season - I don't like talk of a 'free hit' |
Given all the circumstances, if Cook's points per game for this season is lower than Lambert's, I think that would be concerning. Not panic-stations-throw-our-toys-out-of-the-pram-sack-him-now concerning, but still disappointing.
