It has happened in the UK, but "only" at the rate of one fatal brain clot per million (segregating the most dangerous type of clot from the regular sort). Rate looks higher elsewhere; I don't know why.
Given UK has over 150,000 Covid deaths, and the AZ vaccine is said to be 100% effective v fatality, the odds look in favour of being vaxed, 0.2% v 0.0001%. Obvs, the argument skews more towards upper age ranges, but the odds of dying from Covid are way over 1-in-a-million at any age.
