Community liaison one would hope. The chap was unfortunate enough to have to be Evans' mouth - which is always a horrific task, but as many people have pointed out he has worked tirelessly to create bridges between the club and community.

With a consortium taking over that likely has no real care about the community beyond the success of their venture, having someone who is a conduit for the community will be vitally important or the club. (This is not a slam, just the stark reality about investors)

I think it leaves Lee waiting to make the announcement, but as yet there's nothing to report, and he'll issue news of a takeover when they are ready. He is in no hurry.

He was like a fish out of water to be fair to him, it wasn't right expecting him to wear so many hats, especially ones he didn't have the experience for. Loyalty would like to see him given something, but a proper C suite management team is as exciting as any immediate on field changes for me, as about the only thing I do agree with Lambert on is the structure is a joke. Corner cutting at its finest and little wonder we looked like a rudderless ship for so long.
