I thought the deal with Bart and Notts County was that we would only pay a fee if we got promoted or there was a sell on fee. Neither of which happens in the end. Kelvin Davis would have been my second choice. I also quite liked Neil Alexander. We have done rather well with freebie keepers. | | | |

What? As a free he was excellent value for a number of years. Wrongly maligned imo. It's a bit like Dozzell these days. Skuse used to do a lot of the hard work that goes unnoticed. Someone has to do it. |
I jest a little. Skuse has obvious qualities but to have played as many games as he has it's no surprise our goal scoring from midfield has been so bad, is it? Two goals in eight years. My issue was that he was always seen as the first name on the team sheet, which was so wrong.
We've missed him at times this season, but it won't have improved our toothless attack. |  |
