I will have been using this site for 25 years. Not sure if I’m sad or happy about that.

Not too bad. Getting some miles in on the old pushbike and still slogging away in HE. You?

Slog is an accurate description. Feels like the first breather since last March right now, but that'll come to a swift end when 200 scripts land on my desk on Monday!

I've got 2 sproggos now, and my institution has recently officially admitted that I can read. I'm also looking forward to not recording any videos and taking a sabbatical next spring. So things improving!

Wow, that is impressive - or depressing, I also can't decide which.

I'm not sure when I started, I just remember a big white horse as the background, I'm thinking around 1998.

Over the years I have seen some cretins come and go - but if I'm honest, I don't think I have seen as many absolute Clownshoes as I have now.

I think my favourite poster was Stupidbigmouthhead, closely followed by VeLObLInD (sp)

....of posters are the most pathetic rabble of whiny attention seekers this board has ever seen.

Not a lot of promising youth coming through either, which isn't a surprise when you look at the discussions that are had on here.

I miss the days when people like Burer used to just post pictures of knockers when the place got a bit boring, the sexist b'stard.

Looking forward to not being on Teams for a week or two over the summer. Having said that we have a brand new course to design and validate by September so that's just a pipedream! Congrats on the children - our first is about to move up to secondary school - where does the time go?

The time used to go posting on here. Now it goes on Zoom meetings and changing nappies

To be fair to any of the youngsters on here they have never seen any of our glory days so I'd imagine anyone under the age of 35 would probably be a rather bitter and twisted Ipswich fan! I'd imagine I would be without the early 2000's in my memory.

WilnecoteBlue...as in Wilnecote, Tamworth?

I currently reside in the Tamworth area. Not sure if it more unfortunate for me or for the other residents of Tamworth though!

Yep. Used to drink in the Globe on Watling St. Lived there from 94 to 2001.
