Just looking at his stats and he played such a low amount of games after leaving us in the next 13 years of his career.
I thought he was gonna go on to be at the very least a top championship standard keeper.

Although only 26 he had 10 years of almost full-time appearances. All the latest data confirm that playing so much from an early age has its demerits. Spurs were half a hit, but they were never going to build around him as we had done.

Ambrose. Dyer should have done so much more. Think Wright had limitations but obviously a decent keeper. Wickham similar for me.

Dyer would have achieved more but for being unlucky with injuries, although I think after he retired, he admitted that some of this was down to not looking after himself properly.
Was best as an attacking central midfield player where he could use his pace to good effect, but didn't score enough goals from that position as he wasn't a great finisher.
