A little quizzy thing for y'all, but not using any help 12:12 - Jun 15 with 5663 views | Keno | Players who have played for Town's first team come from 30 different counties but only 4 of those countries have not had a town first team player (see note below) represent that country in a senior international If anyone wants to list the 30 countries feel free but the question is which are the 4 where a town player hasn't also represented their country .... (some caps may not have been won while they were a town player) ((this is based in info on a leading internet info source)) (((includes loanees))) [Post edited 15 Jun 2021 12:14]

The question said "from" meaning Country of Origin. We've had a number of Dutch dual-nationals FROM Suriname, eg Romeo Zondervan who didn't play for Suriname, but did play for Holland. Similarly, Shefki Kuqi is from what is now Kosovo, which was Yugoslavia, and he didn't play for either of those nations but did play for Finland. And somebody mentioned Singapore, which is where Terry Butcher is from, but he represented England. And for the "have represented" list, do you mean represented whilst Ipswich players, or Keno's more generous interpretation? If the latter then Danny Higginbotham played for Gibraltar.

It's almost like the rules weren't clear from the outset, isn't it?

France would have a few more I think - Diagouraga and Abou spring to mind plus others I’ve probably forgotten. Wiki actually says Abou is Ivorian so maybe a seventh uncapped nation, although he did play for the French junior teams and I’m sure he was ‘French’ in the 90’s so a dubious one

Good work! Samassi Abou's Ivory Coast needs to be added to the list. He didn't play a full international for France, and anyway Keno said "From", so Ivory Coast should definitely go on the list!

Although born in France Toumani Diagouraga's parents came from Mali so he probably qualifies to play for Mali too.
