Whilst this is true, we do not have much of a squad at the moment - only players that Cook has made fairly clear are not in his plans, Evans, Burns, Norwood, KVY, Nsiala, Nolan (who is injured), possibly Downes and a few youngsters. Perhaps Drinan, Jackson, Hawkins, Woofenden and co will play better in order to push for a future here but it didn't seem to work that way at the end of last season. |  |

We are working on deals, some deals that are clearly public, some deals that won’t be wider knowledge just yet.
But to be questioning why we are bringing players in yet, in Mid June, when ore season hasn’t even begun is a little strange.
We’ve still bought in two very good League 1 operators, and done some very good business bringing in £1m for Dozzell as well. | |
