Now it would also be good if they policed that rule which they don't seem to have been doing over the last month or two.

But it's ridiculous that it's guidance and no the the actual law. In the stands might not be so bad but in the enclosed areas it makes sense to keep mask wearing. Imagine the toilets rammed with people for instance with no masks.
The figures from the Netherlands show us exactly why keeping masks in some circumstances is required. Even the government are starting to understand this now.
