Take a bow Ed Miliband on 22:20 - Jul 22 by vapour_trail | Blair is a war criminal. Johnson is a rubbish politician. |
There was a deluded former poster on here who kept trying to arrest Mr Blair for being in breach of the Kellogg-Briand pact of 1928.

Take a bow Ed Miliband on 20:49 - Jul 22 by tractordownsouth | This clip is from the Internal Market Bill debate in September but it was indeed a very impressive performance. |
Haha, well spotted - I did wonder why Johnson was in his seat, but lose track of days even more than usual atm, so assumed his isolation period must be up. Obviously repeated on twitter owing to this currently being the hot political sh1t-show of the mo (not to mention the bonus of watching Johnson squirm) - https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jul/21/uk-substantially-rewrite-northe

Take a bow Ed Miliband on 23:50 - Jul 22 by Blueschev | Given that Iraq posed zero threat to the UK, how could the Iraq war be described as anything other than a war of aggression? Which is a war crime under international law. |
I suspect the easiest defence would be that we only know that for sure now - hence why there is so much revisionism of Blair and moral disgust. It goes back to my point about lay interpretations of the law vs. actually being able to convict him. If he was clearly a "war criminal" vs. the distinction of "warmonger" as DK put it (which is an easier sell and probably the best way to see him and his tarnished legacy). The problem is much like the previous century or so of war, threats to allies and resources across many borders means it's hard to claim accurately "zero threat to the UK" because we have so many people and things tied up everywhere.

I haven't seen Boris Johnson eat a sandwich but I can absolutely believe that he could look as much of a pillock as Milliband ever did, it's basically part of his image
