Burton - Fraser missed penalty - 3 points

Cheltenham - Bonne missed chance - 3 points

MK Dons - Evans mistake - 2 points

Nice little 8 points lost from individual errors (Fraser debatable), wonder what'll happen next game eh

Um, the missed penalty lost us 2 points.

Bonne missed one chance v Cheltenham which is 1 point.

As much as Evans mistake gave them a goal, you could argue that they should have scored when they hit the bar.

That is 3 points. We could be on 5 instead of 2. However, we are not.

4 clean sheets or even only conceding 1 on occasion would have put us on 12 points from 12.

We lost the Burton and Cheltenham games bruh. If both of those scored we would've been 2-1/2-0 up. Instead we lost both games lol

Urm, if we’re being completely accurate the missed penalty lost us 1 point.

Tough days at the moment. Keep the faith. COYB!!

People need to realise that individual errors happen to all teams and that is what will dictate who goes up and who doesn’t this season.

It’s not some sort of bad luck exclusive to us, it’s football

We lost them, so the 1 goal would have gained us only 1 more point.

The big issue is conceding too many goals.

No team scores every chance they create.

Individual errors happen at all levels of football... he's got a 19% win percentage in 21 games in LEAGUE ONE. There is no excuse.

Don’t agree - we have given the ball, gifted the ball to an incoming attacker twice in the same place at home - they are basically like own goals

That is completely abnormal

Unless those chances are the very last kick of the game and have a quantifiable bearing on the final score, there’s no way of knowing how the rest of those games would’ve panned out, so it’s just a lot of ‘whatifery’. You can do that the other way… if Bonne hadn’t scored that second, MK Dons could’ve scored their second as a winner…. But it didn’t happen like that, as football is unscripted.

The team didn’t score enough or keep enough out to win. Individual errors/misses etc will happen, and they may or may not affect the final score. If they go the right way for you, you’re in a better position to hopefully get the points, but you can’t pin those points lost on individual moments, as much as you’d like to.

Issue is even if we'd won 2 games that we lost his record is still poor. We're at 21 games and 4 wins, I'm sorry, but I will include last season in this because that would actually IMPROVE his record at this point.

0W - 2D - 3L is a poor record.

2W - 2D - 1L would still not world beating by any means... we would probably scrape a play-off place.
