Here is why I think it could happen if there was a job here.
Howe is free and I think his mate is now too, the shouty one who was his assistant at Bmouth. He has had a long break. The Yanks can afford him. Ipswich is a pretty big club in a nice part of the world (life outside the game is important to him) and every manager not just Howe will look at us and think “wow if I can get this right I could be on a seriously big clubs radar”. He won’t get much stress here either.
To sum up I think it’s possible if not probable as he may have an eye on a Prem club like Newcastle.

He wouldn’t because he can get just as good money at a much better football club operating at a much higher level. Coming here would kill his career whatever we paid him.

I am not saying it is impossible, but to does feel like Eddie Howe would be an optimistic recruitment target in the mid/low Championship. I just can't see how lower league one makes and sense for a manager who could well walk into a Premier League job is one opened up.

He was at Burnley for a bit, not so successful, then resigned and went back to Bournemouth. I don't think he's a bad manager, just not sure if he can do it anywhere else.
