Unusual drinks 10:50 - Sep 22 with 3740 views | bluelagos | So on another thread I explained how Nigerians often mix yoghurt with Guinness to make it a bit more palatable. As a teenager, discovering alcohol in it's many forms, I once put lemonade into a glass of Baileys - that didn't end well. What you got (to relieve today's boredom...) ?

We used to make 'Rusty Barbed Wire' cocktails at Uni in the early 90's. Four cans of any bitter (we used Stones cos it was cheap), a bottle of green ginger wine and a half bottle of blended scotch. Surprised I've still got a liver tbh. Tel likes Lager'n'Lime XL. A traditional mix of lager, lime cordial and a large vodka tops.

I thought that was pretty unusual but it sounds rather tame compared to most of this thread. I'm currently working my way through all the non-alcoholic beers I can find, and Big Drop's 'Rush Rider Pastry Sour' is very weird. A sort of sour raspberry taste, with an aftertaste of pastry. Very nice, like drinking a cake. Talking of which, I used to like an ale called Blackout (I think). It basically tasted like a chocolate sponge cake had been liquidised and put in a pint glass. Lovely, but you could only have one.

Unusual drinks on 10:14 - Sep 23 with 495 views | Decoy_Octopus | One of the guys in my local used to have about a quarter of a pint of neat orange squash in a pint glass then filled it up with Worthingtons (or any similar bitter) instead of water. He put it down next to my Worthy's once and I had a swig of it by mistake. It was a very acquired taste
