On a separate note, and in no way connected to this discussion, a guy I work with has just been banned for blowing over and it's his second offence. He now doesn't have a job, and he put his hand up and said he had been a d*ick and got what he deserved. We all agreed with him. Drink drivers should get what they deserve, and if that means losing your job, or having difficulty getting to your place of work, well better that than you going out and killing someone. |  | | |

We don't have to be THAT careful, since he has already been convicted. From the reported facts of the case it seems open and shut to me. There is no excuse for what he did. |
