It's a shame we didn't get going sooner 20:34 - Oct 30 with 877 viewswkj

Today would have been one of those easy to accept defeats otherwise. Although there were individual errors - we've played worse and got points from those games. We didn't play bad, we didn't play great, it was just one of those matches where we needed to ideally compensate for older results, and select players fell apart at some crucial moments.

We did seem to rev up and through a late surge at them- let's hope we can come into the game on Tuesday, riled up and ready to fight for 90 minutes, as 3 points from the Plymouth and Wycombe game is better than the 2 points that were probably the hope of many.

A win Tuesday and today is forgotten I'd have taken 2 draws. I still expect a draw Tuesday but I'm hoping for win.

Yep, whatever people want to say - each defeat when we are where we are in the league will be seen as a disaster.

We are a third of the way through the season, closer to the relegation zone than the play offs and have an unenviable run of fixtures coming up - fans have every right to be questioning/criticising/flouncing/being unrealistic depending on your view point

As long as the right things are being questioned - it can be a good debate. All is not forgiven for Cook by any stretch of the imagination, though its tough to really know how much pressure he is or isn't under as we've never seen the hammer dropped by the current owners.

Your very lucky Joe comes on this site and gives a very good account of what's going on, he holds twtd together and knows more about the game than the whole lot of you put together, great bloke.

Yeah, but he doesn't look as good in Blue as I do.

Agreed, a win and today matters less. I said I'd be pleased with 3 points from two very hard away games. We cannot afford to look down our noses at two clubs whose form has been excellent and who are in the top two on merit. I think we need to get closer to the playoffs than relegation zone before we start patronising other teams. A win against Wycombe would be a great result. Can't say I'm mega confident but let's see.

Some of yesterday’s flouncing could be tempered a bit mind. We have no right to expect to go there and win given the form they’re in. Although on the flip side, all the overexcitement recently also needs tempering too. Talk about being in the promotion spots by Xmas and only being a couple of results away from challenging at the top is ridiculous. Let’s see where we are after the next 4 games; that’ll give us a much better idea of whether we are likely to catch the top 6.

I think I missed the majority of post game reaction on here.

This time last week after 2 wins against bottom half teams there was talk of auto promotion - it was mental, we need to put probably the best 30 game run together in the clubs history to get to that point

Compared to every time we lose, it’s time for Cook to go? It’s either one end of the spectrum or the other.

No just the posts saying that Cook isn't doing a very good job are interpreted as those calling for his head

They aren’t really though are they? It’s clear what is being implied.
