Can we please put manager doubts out of the picture now? 23:00 - Nov 2 with 3433 viewsitfcsuth

We have a very good manager. A top L1 manager.

Trust him, back him. Still just 16 games with this squad.

We will be just fine with Paul Cook.

He's had all that... but the crucial thing he hasn't had, as many of us have been banging on about for ages, is time.

He's had more time now. And now, the form and results are massively improving. Coincidence?

He's still in employment, so he's getting time.
Time that he's earnt with improved results and performances.
He'll have to keep earning it because that's how competitive sport works.

I meant time before people start getting twitchy, demanding change. Obviously.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

No manager at any football club gets to exist without critique, even unreasonable critique.

Plus only about 3 people were actually calling for him to go. Hardly a huge clamour for his head.

No, but it doesn't mean I have to like the unreasonable critique. I'm just critiquing the unreasonable critiques!

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

‘All I was doing was going around saying he was a failing manager who’s results are unacceptable and telling anyone who advocated giving him more time that they are accepting of mediocrity. It’s not like I had written him off, you can’t blame me for critiquing him’ - lots of people on here, apparently.

i dont think it helps that podcasts local media those who like the sound of their own voice too much on social media etc keep over analysing every little blip etc without having a clue what is going on within the club, statman crunchie etc calling for kieron dyer a few games ago same guy who hounded super jim out as well, then its the same local celebrities who ring up radio suffolk rather than give praise to our new management team the league is now poor etc after a quality win....to coin a big mick phrase comes to mind! numbskulls :)

even phil expressed it was probably time up recently on twitter didnt he or words to that affect,i guess some people would have preferred cowley bros mundane football but a more pc type of guy , i personally think cook has been a breath of fresh air within the club says it how it is none of the paul lambert spin or yawn football with 1 shot on goal but hey we were top in oct with lambert for a moment so it was all good at the time i remember saying we look crap and fluked our way to the top. but because we were top fans didnt want to see the bigger picture.

....it's a 3rd Division football team.

You are such a drama queen.

"Project FFS" sounds like a rubbish BBC3 sitcom starring some bell like Jack Whitehall.

Written by me, obviously.
