It really is a well made film. Oscar bait, to an extent, but very well done. I'm a sucker for 'editing room dramas' and journalism/newspaper movies in general. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations beyond the obvious? I've already seen the below:

Frost/Nixon
The Year of Living Dangerously
The Paper
Killing Fields
Zodiac
Citizen Kane
Network
Under Fire
The Insider
The Post
All The President's Men
State of Play

Dark Waters as above is v good.

Not quite along the same lines but you'd probably enjoy Vice.

Molly's Game (Tbh anything with Jessica Chastain in it, a most violent year is very good too)

More along the lines of tbe others

Good night and good luck
True Crime
Charlie Wilsons War
Syriana
Almost Famous
The constant Gardner
Nightcrawler
The pelican Brief (more legal than journos... along the same lines the firm and the rain maker all from the pen of John Grisham)

And of course Anchorman the legend of Ron Burgundy and Anchonman 2 the legend continues

Balibo.

Australian, so maybe not well known in the UK. True story of the murder of 5 journalists in East Timor and the subsequent cover up unearthed by a journalist searching for the truth.

Great film.

Endgame is worth a watch. Not a brilliant film, but interesting in light of FW de Klerk's death.
